In October 2014, the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza will commence the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of its Grand Opening. This special Anniversary season will be comprised of command performances by artists who have appeared on the Civic Arts Plaza two stages over the last 20 years and the Plaza is seeking input from residents as to who they would like to see return to the Fred Kavli Theatre for the Performing Arts and the Janet and Ray Scherr Forum Theatre.
Civic Arts Plaza staff has comprised a list of artists who have previously performed in the past 20 years at the center. Residents are asked to select the artists that they would most like to see return to the Civic Arts Plaza during the 20th Anniversary Season by choosing up to five favorites in each category. There is also a section where residents can write in performers that are not listed. When an artist is added to the 20th Anniversary schedule, residents who selected that particular artist will be eligible to be entered into a drawing to win two front row seats and an opportunity to go backstage to meet the artist. This survey is open to all residents in surrounding communities, whether or not they have attended a performance at the Civic Arts Plaza.
All ballots are due Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 4:00 pm. Ballots may be returned to designated boxes inside City of Thousand Oaks Main Lobby, the Fred Kavli Theatre Lobby, or mailed to: Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, Theatre Admin. Office, 2100 Thousand Oaks Bl. Thousand Oaks, CA 91362
The survey can also be found on the home page at
