Venue Theatre presents Wally's Café by Sam Bobrick and Ron Clark from today, March 14-30, 2014. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 pm and Sunday at 2:30 pm.
A feel good comedy about love, struggle, and friendship. Wally and Louise have just opened a roadside diner near Las Vegas in 1940 when we meet their only customer - a star-struck Midwestern girl hitchhiking her way to Hollywood. Four decades later despite years of struggle, their hopes, dreams, and friendship still survive.
Wally's Café stars Mary Kay Cyrus, Cory McBride, and Mark William Myers and is directed by Frank Kronyak and David Middleton. The Actor's Fund is the designated benefit organization for this production. The Actors Fund is a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment serving as a safety net providing programs and services for those who are in need, crisis, or transition. Tickets are $20 and reservations may be made by calling the theatre at 727-822-6194 or by visiting the Venue Theatre website at http://venuewebsite.wix.com/venuetheatre.Videos
