Opening our Friday Fest series on June 10th will be local favorite Koko Ray & The Keepers. Popular amongst the Bradenton and Sarasota music scene, Koko Ray & The Keepers seamlessly cross genres from Blues, Bluegrass, Jazz and Rock n Roll, all with a friendly upbeat atmosphere.
Grooving in on July 29th is reggae band Jah Movement. Fronted by hometown hero and vocalist extraordinaire Shantel Norman, Jah Movement will be bringing you some of the top 40 Funk, Soul, R&B and Calypso Dance music by some of the best artists worldwide. Don't miss out, "The Movement" is sure to get you dancing!
Sarasota's Rebelheart will be continuing our series on August 26th, showcasing a contemporary blend of Country music. Rebelheart's talented musicians have been performing locally, generating a strong following by playing some of today's best-known hits.
Wrapping up our Friday Fest series on September 23rd is the Dr. Dave Band. A Bradenton favorite performing for more than a decade as a top-choice house band, the Dr. Dave Band knows how to get the crowd on their feet cheering, dancing and singing along to their vast catalogue of Classic Rock, Country, and Blues Hits.
Bring your blankets or lawn chairs, take in the music and the sunset, and enjoy food and beverage from local vendors. Friday Fest takes place in "rain or shine". In the event of inclement weather, the festival will move indoors to our grand foyer or main stage of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall.
