The Carrollwood Cultural Center presents CHORUS ANGELORUM DOES THE HOLIDAY! on Friday, December 18 at 7:30 pm.

Chorus Angelorum, named from the Latin for a “Choir of Angels”, is a premier volunteer vocal ensemble of male and female voices, formed in 2001 for the purpose of offering fine quality performances of vocal music to the Tampa Bay area. The group was established by Rick Smith, former Director of Music Ministries at First Presbyterian Church in St Petersburg.

When Mr. Smith moved to San Francisco in 2005, Chorus Angelorum recreated itself as a totally community-based vocal group with P. Michael Davis as organizational director and several members of the group as consulting musical leaders. While the group generally performs as an a cappella ensemble, with a remarkable reputation for vivid interpretations of vocal literature from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and Contemporary periods, the group has also performed with various Tampa Bay instrumental ensembles.

Admission is  $10 for Carrollwood Cultural Center members and $15 for non-members.

The Carrollwood Cultural Center is located at 4537 Lowell Road, Tampa, FL 33618.  For more information, call (813)269-1310.
