The Carrollwood Cultural Center and the Florida Orchestra Guild/Tampa, Inc presents Music Notes, a series of lectures/demonstrations highlighting the Florida Orchestra's Master Works
Repertoire 2009-2010.
On Thursday, November 12 at 10 am, the lecture/demonstration will explore the work of Ludwig Van Beethoven.
Future lectures will highlight the works of Tchaikovsky (January 12, 2010), Gershwin (February 23, 2010) and Dvorak (April 13, 2010). Discussions and musical demonstrations will be led by special guests, including Mary Ann Scialdo, Artistic Director of the Carrollwood Cultural Center and a Steinway artist.

Admission is $15 per discussion or $50 for the entire series. Coffee and pastries will be served.

The mission of the Friends of the Center is to offer cultural programs, services and events that encourage individual exploration and promotes a sense of community. The Center participates with several Florida interest groups to promote the arts and its influences throughout the community. These groups offer intergenerational programs as well as initiatives that address particular individual needs and encompass graphic and performing arts, continuing education, and community outreach programs.
