Sunday performances are at 3 PM; all other performances are at 8 PM. Tickets are $25 ($20 students, seniors and active military), and parking at the theater is free. Patrons may purchase tickets at the door or from a link on TampaRep's website at www.tamparep.org/joneses.
Nominated for three 2014 Drama League Awards and winner of two special Drama Desk awards, The Realistic Joneses takes a moving and funny look at how the lives of two couples collide when they become neighbors in a small mountain town. The play had a successful Broadway run in 2014.
Playwright Eno is one the brightest lights of the Contemporary Stage-an Albee Foundation Fellow and winner of the 2014 Obie Award for Playwriting.
For this production, director C. David Frankel (also TampaRep's Artistic Director) has assembled an outstanding cast of local favorites, including Randy Rosenthal (TampaRep's The Iceman Cometh), Joanna Sycz (TampaRep's Imagining Madoff, Jobsite Theater's Time Stands Still), Jason Wagner (the films Red Winter and Spring Breaker) and Nicole Smith (Stageworks Theater's The Divine Sisterhood, Jobsite's The Underpants.)
The Realistic Joneses kicks off TampaRep's sixth season, to be followed by the powerful dramas Grounded in January and The Other Place in June. The company's landmark fifth season was recently honored with nominations for 15 awards, with wins in both the Creative Loafing "Best of the Bay" awards and the Theatre Tampa Bay awards.
