The triple Tony Award-winning musical THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD is coming to the Manatee Performing Arts Center! The Manatee Players will present the show opening January 9 and running through January 26.

Performances are Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets range from $26-$36 including facility fee for adults, $15 including facility fee for teachers and $13 including facility fee for students. Tickets may be reserved by calling 941-748-5875 Monday - Friday from 9-5 and one hour before curtain on performance days or on the Manatee Players' website: www.manateeplayers.com. All performances are at the Manatee Performing Arts Center at 502 3rd Avenue West in downtown Bradenton.

At the hit Broadway musical THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, you finish the story Charles Dickens didn't! It's the only show in town that ends differently every night, depending on what the audience decides.

The title role of Edwin Drood is played by Danae DeShazer. The rest of the cast of motley characters includes The Chairman-Walter Price, Neville-Tristan Martin, Helena-Michele Anaya, Jasper-Christoff Marse, Princess Puffer-Michelle Spears, Rosa Bud-Eliza Engle, Reverend Crisparkle-Jack Harkleroad, Bazzard- Jason Kimble, Durdles-Heath Jorgensen, Deputy-J.D. Carter, Throttle-Craig Engle, Ensemble-Shawn Adams, Tahj Porter, Molly Schoolmester, Amanda Heisey, Corinne Woodland and Amelia Wormer

The show is being directed by Scott Keys with Aaron Cassette as musical director.

The Manatee Players is an award-winning non-profit community theater located in downtown Bradenton, Florida. Our Mission is to represent, enrich and stimulate people through the art of Live Theatre by providing entertainment, education and an artistic outlet.
