Do you know a teen, age 13-18, who is interested in developing their acting skills on a pre-professional level?

Tell them about Teen Actors Gang @ the Gorilla (TAGG).

TAGG Students are challenged to be one hundred percent present during every class. Not just there, but there, prepared, focused and ready to collaborate.

Each week the students are introduced to different approaches to acting and theatre. The skills learned give the students an arsenal with which they can confidently tackle most acting roles.

In addition to class work, students have monologues and scene work for the fall session and collaborate on a short play for the spring session.

These projects will require a commitment to the program beyond attending class. Homework is expected each week. But it's theatre, so it's fun homework, right?

The short play in the spring is seen by public audiences and is a fully realized production.

Ami Sallee Corley instructs throughout, allowing the classwork to reflect the mainstage season at The Gorilla. Students and parents are encouraged to become season ticket holders and a special TAGG discount applies to students and their families.

Individual instruction is also available to help with the homework between group sessions or to help with outside projects or auditions.

TAGG 09-10 Dates and Tuition:
Semester 1: Sept 20 '09 - Jan 13 '10 16 weeks $320
Semester 2: Feb 14 '10 - June 6 '10 16 weeks $320
