Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project is celebrating its 11-Year Anniversary with their Annual "Prelude to Pride" salute with a staged play reading of Paul Rudnick's romantic comedy, "JEFFREY".
Whether catering a ditzy socialite's "Hoe-down for AIDS" or cruising at the gym or at the annual Gay Pride Parade, Jeffrey finds the pursuit of love and just plain old physical gratification to be the number-one preoccupation of his times-and the source of plenty of hilarity. Just after he's reconciled himself to celibacy, Jeffrey meets the man of his dreams, who also happens to be HIV-positive. What follows is an audacious and moving romantic comedy with a difference-one in which the quest for love and where unflagging humor prevails even when tragedy might be just around the corner. "JEFFREY" stars Eric Davis as Steve, Chris Crawford as Jeffrey, Matthew McGee, as Sterling, Scott Daniel as Darius, Drew Decaro, Sara DelBeato , Daniel Harris, Jason Ellis, and Susan Haldeman,. All performers are donating their time and talents for this production.Videos
