The Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project is proud to announce its annual salute to St Pete Pride with Charles Busch's THE LADY IN QUESTION, Monday, June 21, 2010 at the American Stage Theatre Company, 163 Third Street North, downtown, St. Petersburg. Proceeds from this event will benefit ASAP (AIDS Services Association of Pinellas); an organization that provides services to people living with HIV and AIDS.
THE LADY IN QUESTION is a madcap spoof of the "trashy damsel in distress vs. the Nazis" movies that packed them in during a successful Off-Broadway run. Gertrude Garnet, America's renowned pianist and world class hedonist, is on tour in Bavaria. She meets and falls in love with Professor Maxwell and they plot to free his mother from the Fuhrer's minions. Don't miss local favorite Matt McGee as "The Lady" herself - Gertrude Garnet in this entertaining evening of theatre.
The Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness, provide assistance, and perpetuate a life of dignity for those affected and infected by HIV and AIDS.
Whether you are coming OUT to celebrate Pride Month or just to enjoy a night of hilarious comedy, join the fun, Monday, June 21, 2010 to celebrate while also benefiting a worthy cause.
