According to the Tampa Bay Times, an enterprising group of students has taken on the task of producing a brand new musical centered around popular grocery store chain Publix.

50 students from Harrison School of the Arts debuted a new musical titled WHEN YOU DREAM written by the school's principal. The musical is told from the perspective of a manager of a Winter Haven Piggly Wiggly and follows the rise to success of George Jenkins, founder of Publix.

The play and lyrics were written by Harrison Principal Daryl Ward (@hsaprincipal) with music by Tyler Campbell, a Lakeland High School English teacher. The production was directed by faculty members Suzi Lambert and Laurel Renfroe. Ryland Marbutt, a recent Harrison grad now studying at Pace University in New York City, played George Jenkins.

Those hoping to catch the musical can attend Harrison's Roll out the Red Carpet gala April 7 where it will be performed one last time.
