St. Petersburg City Theatre is putting the fun into fundraiser with a cheeky adaption of an "Oh, so British" Pantomime, or Panto. Dracula is on the loose in London hunting for the keys to Vlad the Impaler's treasure with Sapphi the vampire slayer in hot pursuit. Coco Van Helsing and Lucy Lastic are not far behind. When they all meet up in Transylvania raucous chaos ensues. Music, outrageous comedy and audience participation...come see what the rowdy fun is all about.

Written by Thomas Ribbits and Tim Saward and directed by David Middleton, Dracula, The Vampire Strikes Back, is styled after a traditional British form of entertainment known as Panto. The performances always feature stock characters, drag comedy, double-entendre, outrageous puns, corny jokes, musical numbers, and lots of noisy audience participation.

Audience members are encouraged to get into the Halloween spirit and dress in costume. There will be lots of raffle prizes and activities in the lobby prior to the performance. This is a fundraiser for City Theatre.

Performances are October 24 - November 2, Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm. Doors will open 1 hour prior the show. Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for students; Children under the age of 12 are FREE (one per adult ticket).

Call the box office at 727-866-1973 or visit www.spcitytheatre.org to purchase tickets.

Box office hours are Monday through Friday, 10am-4pm.
