The show tells the story of the irrepressible matchmaker Dolly Gallagher Levi and her attempt to arrange a marriage for the miserly half-millionaire, Horace Vandergelder. Somehow she manages to find him the perfect mate-herself! But first she must win the heart of her unsuspecting "husband to be" before he gets hitched to somebody else. Join Dolly on a whirlwind race around New York at the turn of the 20th century, following the adventures of America's most beloved matchmaker!
A Florida native and graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts, started her career dancing around the world and on Broadway with Lee Theodore's American Dancemachine. Jill has also directed and choreographed at many theaters across the country including the Jenny Wiley in Kentucky, the Hippodrome in Gainesville, the Galveston Outdoor Theatre, the Mt. Gretna Playhouse, and right here at the Show Palace. She was the resident choreographer for the Mark Two Dinner Theatre in Orlando for 9 years, and the Artistic Director at the Wolfhart Haus Dinner Theatre in Virginia for the past 6 years. Nicole Dominguez (Dolly Levi) A Los Angeles native, Nicole is very pleased to be returning to the Show Palace. She was the director of this seasons, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. She recently appeared as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (OC Weekly, Register, Best of Southern California 2011 Awards); Sarah Jane Moore in Assassins (BackStage West, Garland Award nomm.); and Joyce in the American Festival of New Musicals The Brian from Planet X (Garland Award). Television and film: Malcolm in the Middle, The Insider and Bewitched. Production Staff: Criminal Minds. Nicole is the artistic director of Found Space Shakespeare and is a graduate of the University of California-Irvine. Her play Honestly, OK co-written with her writing partner Lauren Stone, will have it's premiere at The Blank Theatre on November 18th. Christoff Marse (Horace Vandegelder) Christoff Marse is thrilled to be making his Show Palace debut.
