The Manatee Performing Arts Center presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a hilarious and fast-paced musical, on October 29th - November 15th in Stone Hall. This musical will be directed by Steven Flaa and musically directed by Aaron Cassette.
This interactive adaptation allows audience members to engage with the actors during the production.
Laugh along with us as six quirky adolescents compete in an annual spelling bee. Along the way, hear the hilarious and wistful stories each tells while spelling their way to the top. Only one speller will win; Find out who it will be.
This production will feature Daniel Perrone as Chip Tolentino, Marissa Brotz as Logainne Schwartzandgrubenniere, Brian Craft as Leaf Coneybear, Jalex Scott as William Barfee, Kay Brown as Marcy Park, Kyle Ann Lacertosa as Olive Ostrovsky, Olga Pena as Rona Perretti, Mark Eichorn as VP Douglas Panch and Brian Kleinschmidt as Mitch Mahoney.
