No, No, Nanette, the classic musical, will run at the Francis Wilson Playhouse in Clearwater from March 24 to April 10, 2011.

"Millionaire Bible publisher Jimmy Smith and his frugal wife want to teach their ward, Nanette, to be a respectable young lady. Nanette and her untapped wild side want to have some fun in Atlantic City. Misunderstandings, love, blackmail, music and dance all combine into a great show." With a book by Otto Harbach and Frank Mandel, lyrics by Irving Caesar and Otto Harbach, and music by Vincent Youmans, this musical includes such well-known songs as "Tea for Two" and "I Want to Be Happy."

Tickets are $26 for adults and $13 for students and can be purchased at the box office. For more information, call 727-446-1360 or visit the official website of the theatre.

For 78 years, the Francis Wilson Playhouse has been serving Clearwater by providing a venue for high quality community theatre. In that time, the theatre has presented in excess of 4,000 performances of more than 600 shows. Many thousands of local residents have taken part in those performances, as audience members, actors and actresses, production staff and other volunteers. Some of those actors and actresses have found fame - Charles Napier, Liz Vassey and Flip Kobler are three of our local actors who went on to Hollywood and beyond. Most, however, stayed in Clearwater doing what they love - performing live theatre.
