The team behind freeFall's smash hit SPRING AWAKENING re-unite to present Paul Scott Goodman's musicalization of Jay McInerney's classic novel of the youth and excess of 1980's New York. BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY begins performances February 28 and runs through March 22.

Lucas Wells (SPRING AWAKENING National Tour) will star as Jamie. Other members of the cast include TTB Nominee Scott Daniel as Chuck Bean (THE SCOTT AND PATTI SHOW, Stageworks' BIRDS OF A FEATHER), Nick Lerew as Michael (freeFall's INTO THE WOODS), Clinton Harris as Tad (American Stage's RENT, HAIR), Kara Konken as Amanda, Sarita Amani Nash as Vicky/ Coma Baby, Heather Cleveland Krueger as Mother (Jobsite's RETURN TO THE FORBIDDEN PLANET), Amy Marie Stewart as Meghan (Disney Cruise Lines) with TTB Award winner Katie Berger as Mary (freeFall's THE BURNT PART BOYS, INTO THE WOODS).

BRIGHT LIGHTS follows the sordid urban adventures of a dissolute fact checker as he plummets through a boomtown world of nightclubs, bars, models and cocaine. BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY will be directed by freeFall's Artistic Director Eric Davis with musical direction by Michael Raabe (DISENCHANTED - NYC) and choreography by Megan Morgan (freeFall's SPRING AWAKENING).

The set designed by Matt Davis (TTB Award Winner for freeFall's THE BURNT PART BOYS) will turn freeFall's black box into a stylized version of a 1980's nightclub complete with high-top table club seating. Table space is limited. The costume, wig and make-up design will be created by Scott Daniel of MattocS Productions LLC (TTB Award winner for freeFall's THE MIKADO) and the award-winning Mike Wood Lighting Design will design lighting.
