Manatee Players to Present LES MISERABLES, 8/8-25

The Manatee Players, Inc. will open their first full season in the new Manatee Performing Arts Center with the internationally acclaimed musical LES MISERABLES. The production will open on August 8 and run through August 25.

Performances are Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets range from $26-$36 including facility fee for adults, $15 including facility fee for teachers and $13 including facility fee for students. Tickets may be reserved by calling 941-748-5875Monday - Friday from 9-5 and one hour before curtain on performance days or on the Manatee Players' website: www.manateeplayers.com. All performances are at the Manatee Performing Arts Center at 502 3rd Avenue West in downtown Bradenton.

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, LES MISERABLES tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption-a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit

The cast includes Kenn Rapczynski as Jean Valjean, Brad Barbaro as Javert, James Hyde as Marius, Sarah Cassidy as Fantine, Anna Trinci as Cosette, Holly Rizzo as Eponine, Brian Chunn as Enjolras, David Walker as Thénardier, Stephanie Woodman as Madame Thénardier, Giana Biscegliaand Laura Schmickel sharing the role of Little Cosette, Maverick Wolf and Carson Rudolph sharing the role of Gavroche, Lilly Mae Stewart andRiley Silva sharing the role of Little Eponine, Ken Basque as the Bishop and a large ensemble cast including Brian Rudolph, Rodd Dyer, Craig Weiskerger, Jason Moore, Travis Rogers, Alexander Zickafoose, Jason Ellis, Ryan O'Dell, Chris McCoy, Ian Weir, Hunter Brown, Jamie Daniel, Garrett Bryant, Rik Robertson, Anthony Santaniello, Mike Nolan, Abe Johnson, Chris Wolf, Trina Rizzo, Rita Mazer, Brittney Klepper, Corinne Woodland, Kaitlin Folsom, Johana Davila, Eliza Lipton, Caitlin Longstreet, Zoe Verbil, Eliza Engle, Danae DeShazer, Marissa Brotz, Michelle Anaya, Margarita Audette and Cami Wyatt.

The show is being directed and choreographed by Rick Kerby with Aaron Cassette as musical director.
