The Board of Directors has announced The Manatee Players, Inc.'s Inaugural Crystal Gala to celebrate the grand opening of the new Manatee Performing Arts Center. The gala will be on Saturday August 3 at the Manatee Performing Arts Center, 502 3rd Avenue West in downtown Bradenton, starting at 5:30 p.m.
"This gala is our way to introduce and showcase the Manatee Performing Arts Center as a multi-purpose venue to the people of our community." says The Manatee Players, Inc.'s Executive Director Janene Witham. Producing Artistic Director Rick Kerby added "The new Manatee Performing Arts Center serves as a testament to what can happen when a community believes in the importance of the arts and isn't afraid to dream big!"
The gala will include a welcome reception with signature cocktail, Hors d'oeuvres and open bar in the lobby, followed by special entertainment by John and Alexandra Nock, currently appearing on AMERICA'S GOT TALENT. Immediately after the performance, an elegant dinner will be served prepared by Pier 22. There will be both silent and live auctions. Following dinner, enjoy live music and dancing. Tickets for the exclusive event are $175 per person, black tie preferred. There will be complimentary valet parking. All proceeds benefit the capital campaign.
