Mad Theatre of Tampa's 2017-18 season lineup at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts has been announced.

The mad Theatre of Tampa Broadway musical series includes Green Day's American Idiot, It Shoulda Been You and Disaster!

Season tickets will be offered for the first time in mad Theatre of Tampa history, including an opportunity to add tickets to your season subscription for the eagerly anticipated Tony Award-winning, Stephen Sondheim classic, Company - A Musical Comedy, June 15 through July 2, 2017.

Green Day's American Idiot, Fall 2017, is a sung-through adaptation of Green Day's rock opera, American Idiot. With a book by Billy Joe Armstrong and Michael Mayer, this Tony Award-winning musical is sure to light up the Jaeb stage and harkens back to mad Theatre of Tampa's sold-out production of RENT in 2015.

It Shoulda Been You, Winter 2018, is a musical comedy with music by Barbara Anselmi and lyrics by Brian Hargrove and involves a wedding which brings together the families that are comically and hilariously different.

Disaster!, Summer 2018, is a musical comedy created by Seth Rudetsky and written by Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick. Earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos, and the unforgettable songs of the 70's like Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours, Knock on Wood, I Am Woman, Hot Stuff and Don't Cry Out Loud take center stage in this homage to classic disaster films.
