"Love, Sex and the IRS" tells the story of Jon Trachtman an Leslie Arthur, two longtime roommates and best friends. Jon is engaged to Kate Dennis, who has been having an affair behind Jon's back with Leslie. Meanwhile, Jon, an accountant, has been listing Leslie as his wife on his tax returns for the past 4 years to save some money. The day of reckoning comes when a phone call from Mr. Floyd Spinner of the IRS informs them of their impending audit. The three decide to attempt to pull off a con: Pass Leslie off for ond day as Jon's wife. The plan, to say the least, goes hilariously awry.
The cast consists of Doug Buffaloe as Leslie Arthur, Martin Lemaire as Jon Trachtman, Jennifer Morgan as Kate Dennis, Tom Guerre as Floyd Spinner, Clint Shepherd as Mr. Jansen, Terry Fiset/Mollie Anderson as Vivian Trachtman, Jessica Cothron as Connie, and Corey Wade as Arnold Grunion.
The Carrollwood Cultural Center is a partnership between Hillsborough County and the Friends of the Carrollwood Cultural Center. It is the first cultural center in the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department system and opened in March 2008. The building is a complete renovation of the old St. Mark's Episcopal Church and a new addition that provides more than 22,000 square feet of space for the arts.
