Man of La Mancha returns to the stage in an all-new production of the Tony Award winning musical that has inspired audiences since that very first time "The Impossible Dream" was heard on opening night in 1965. With a matinée and evening showing at the Van Wezel on February 20, 2014, Sarasota can enjoy one of the best loved musicals.

Man of La Mancha is a remarkable show and one of the greatest theatre successes of our time. In this play-within-a-play, we enter the mind and world of Cervantes's Don Quixote as he pursues his quest for the impossible dream. This new production brings to life the fantasy and adventure in an epic tale that celebrates the triumph of the human spirit! Man of La Mancha has won five Tony Awards including Best Musical, as well as the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical and the Outer Circle Award.
