Jimmy Ferraro's STUDIO THEATRE, 5732 Main Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652, presents the perfect follow-up after their critically acclaimed production of Neil Simon's Last of the Red Hot Lovers, with the musical comedy SOPHIE, TOTIE & BELLE. Opening Night is Friday, October 30th at 7:30pm and the production runs weekends through November 22nd.

The production stars Dee Etta Rowe as Sophie Tucker, with Sara DelBeato as Belle Barth, Kathy McGuire as Totie Fields, and Ryan Bintz as Agent/Angel.

Directed and staged by Jimmy Ferraro, the show features musical direction by Dee Etta Rowe, book by Joanne Koch and Sarah Blacher Cohen, production stage manager Tracie Callahan, set/lighting/sound design by Keith Snyder, and costumes by Darlene Widner.

"SOPHIE, TOTIE & BELLE", is a hilarious musical comedy about a fictional meeting of vaudeville star Sophie Tucker, television star, comedienne Totie Fields and Miami Beach-based, bawdy comedian Belle Barth as they await their ultimate audition at heaven's pearly gates. Musical highlights include "Some of These Days", All of Me", "You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You", Red Hot Mama" and many more....

Performance schedule: Friday and Saturday evening: Doors open at 7:00 pm / show at 7:30 pm. Sunday matinee: Doors open at 1:30 pm / show at 2:00 PM. Tickets $28.00 (tax included) - call 727-409-0293. SOPHIE, TOTIE & BELLE will be presented in 2 acts with a 15 minute intermission.

About the Cast:

Dee Etta Rowe (Sophie Tucker) - Dee Etta received critical acclaim as the wacky, farmer's wife, "Mavis" in Jimmy Ferraro's STUDIO THEATRE's opening production of "CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES", as the "cougar", Maggie in the World Premiere of "COUPLED" , in "The Singing Divas of Broadway & Hollywood" and "A Christmas Cabaret". She starred as Golde, in the 2012 National Tour of "Fiddler on the Roof", opposite her husband, Broadway actor, Jimmy Ferraro. She was seen all over the country for 8 years in "Menopause the Musical", as both the Iowa Housewife and Earth Mother. BROADWAY debut: "The Most Happy Fella" starring Georgio Tozzi. Dee Etta created the role of Olga Von Sturm on Broadway in "Nine" opposite Raul Julia, Bert Convey, and Sergio Franchi. Off Broadway:"What's New" with Nathan Lane. National Tours: Sweeney Todd" with Angela Landsbury and George Hearn,"Showboat", with Eddie Bracken and Lanie Kazan and "The Sound of Music" with Ann Blythe, Sally Ann Howes, and Patrice Munsel .Regional: starring roles in many productions including: "Nunsense" and "The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas", Miss. Hannigan -"Annie", La Carlotta - "PHANTOM", Ethel Banks - "Barefoot in the Park" and Essie Rubin - "A Majority of One" opposite Mimi Hines.

Sara DelBeato (Belle Barth) - An accomplished jazz vocalist and actress, Sara is thrilled to return to Jimmy Ferraro's STUDIO THEATRE after her debut here, as the bubbly, psychotic, wanna-be actress, Bobbie Michelle in "Last of the Red Hot Lovers. She is an entertainer with Norwegian Cruise Lines, and most recently performed on the Pride of America cruising the Hawaiian Islands. Sara has toured the country with Arthur, Live!, based on the PBS television series; This included sold-out performances at Boston's prestigious Colonial Theater. With over 40 book musicals under her belt, favorite regional musical theatre credits include: Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, Grizabella in CATS, and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. Kathy McGuire (Totie Fields) - Kathy is humbled and honored to be stepping into the footlights at Jimmy Ferraro's Studio Theatre in her theatrical debut is Tampa Bay's versatile songstress, KathySings4u. For over thirty years, her dynamic combination of a powerful and evocative "clarion voice" (Houston Chronicle), warm presence, and engaging personality has inspired audiences throughout the country at concerts, charity events, and even singing telegrams. Ryan Bintz ( Agent/Angel) - Ryan is thrilled to be working for the first time at Jimmy Ferraro's STUDIO THEATRE. Ryan has been actively involved in Tampa bay theatre for the past 12 years. This past summer he played Man 1 at Mary Jo's Triple Threat Theatre Company in Songs for a New World. Ryan has performed professionally at American stage, Jaeb theatre, Patel conservatory, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Busch Gardens. Ryan spends his days as an elementary music teacher in Pasco County. Some of his favorite roles include: emcee in cabaret, pippin in pippin, batboy in Batboy the musical, Frankie in Forever Plaid, Corny in Hairspray, Jesus in Godspell, Jerry in Full Monty, Billy in Chicago, Jekyll in Jekyll and Hyde and many more. He would like to thank his family Robbie, Emma, and Evan for their love and support.
