Jim Brickman has revolutionized the sound of solo piano with his pop-style instrumentals and star-studded vocal collaborations. His signature style has also brought him two Grammy nods, four certified Gold albums, and 30 charted radio hits.

Brickman brings his Comfort & Joy tour to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Tuesday, November 29th at 7:30PM.

Blending yuletide sentiments and traditional carols coupled with his popular songs like "The Gift," "Sending You A Little Christmas," "Angel Eyes" and "If You Believe," Jim Brickman's live concerts have become an annual holiday tradition. With a beautiful holiday backdrop of musical warmth and nostalgia, Brickman's music reminds us that faith, love and togetherness are what we value most this time of year. Join us this holiday season and celebrate the spirit of Comfort & Joy at the Van Wezel.

Brickman's special guests are an all-star lineup of fan-favorites including Kris Allen (2008 American Idol Winner), singer Anne Cochran, and electric violinist Tracy Silverman.

There will also be one other special guest joining the trio: Local ninth grader JorDan Evans. Jordan recently performed a self-composed medley of Brickman's original song "The Promise" with the holiday classic "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" at a contest created in partnership with Roland dealer Pritchard Pianos. Brickman himself was one of the judges that selected the budding young pianist to join him on stage at the Van Wezel in November.

Jordan has been taking piano lessons with local piano teacher Carmen Conway since he was five years old. After speaking with Jordan's mother it is clear that music runs in the family genes. "This is such a great opportunity, Jim is allowing these students to experience performing in front of such a large audience," said Lisa Evans (Jordan's mother).

Tickets are $16-$51 available for purchase at VanWezel.org, the Box Office, or by calling 941-953-3368.
