Songwriting legend Bobby Braddock described him "like Prine, but with a Southern bent." Music News Nashville called him "a guitar-slinging poet." Peeples tours have included performances at The Woody Guthrie Folk Festival (Oklahoma), The Living Room (NYC), and The Triple Door (Seattle). His records, produced by Gurf Morlix (Lucinda Williams, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Robert Earl Keen) have topped Folk/Roots charts in the US and in Europe.
Watch Peeples Perform at the Side Door and Elsewhere
Claire, Charlie and Sarah Mac perform a blend of original music they call "jazzy, bluesy, rock with a healthy dose of soul." Sarah Mac's voice has the power and grit of Janis Joplin, the sweet, soothing breathy tone of Edie Brickell, and the gut-wrenching raw tones of an old soul or gospel singer. Paired with Charlie's intricate, sultry guitar work and Claire's solid, intriguing bass lines, this trio creates a powerful live experience. They've shared the stage with the Lee Boys, Shawn Colvin, Shawn Mullins and more.
