Los Angeles pianist, composer and arranger Ted Howe is going deep undercover into the land of James Bond, aka Agent 007, bringing new arrangements of more than a dozen Bond film themes including From Russia With Love, Diamonds are Forever, You Only Live Twice and many more in Shaken Not Stirred: The Music of James Bond, Nov. 6. The show features a five-piece band, two vocalists and Howe at the Steinway. Palladium members receive 2 for 1 tickets for this show! Call the box office for tickets or call 727-341-7918 to join!

On Nov. 6, An Evening with Solas is the first of three shows in the Palladium's November Celtic Music Series. For over a decade, Solas has redefined Celtic folk and, say critics, have risen to the ranks of the finest purveyors of the genre. A large part of the group's enormous appeal, aside from their jaw dropping technical prowess, is their ability to blend traditional instruments and styles with Irish music standards. On Nov. 12, Celtic harpist Patrick Ball portrays and performs the beloved composer's music in O'Carolan's Farewell to Music, followed by The Battlefield Band on Nov. 21, founding member Alan Reid's farewell performance.

Stage and screen actor Hal Linden appears Nov. 13 in Shine! The Horatio Alger Musical, a staged reading with vocals. Last year's hit Amor de Tango, returns on Nov. 14 with Argentine born and trained tango masters Eddy & Veronica Hernandez Trill. A mix of traditional and Nuevo tango, the show features internationally acclaimed tango singer Mariela Marco, eight international dancers and a live tango band. VIP tickets include premium seating, a reception and social dancing with the artists. Also coming: America Remembers: A Veteran's Day Salute, presented by St. Petersburg College Concert Chorus (Nov. 7), The New Orleans Nighthawks, dixieland and jazz (Nov. 9), Trust in the Journey, a Holocaust survivor play presented by the Florida Holocaust Museum (Nov. 10 & 11), The Cardboard Stories: Blissful Turmoil presented by Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless Performing Arts Task Group, in collaboration with Joyeous Production s (Nov. 18-20), and the USF Symphony Orchestra (Nov. 21).

With its new state-of-the-art sound system, audiences are rediscovering why this historic venue is consistently ranked as one of Tampa Bay's best and most intimate venues for music, theatre and dance.
