Grounded Opens Thursday Night! The sound of an F-16 roars through the air -- and standing alone on stage is Emilia Sargent as The Pilot, one of the Air Force's finest flyers. Soon, though, she's out of the sky, pregnant and then a mother, only to return three years later as an unmanned aerial vehicle operator. A member of the Chair Force.

George Brant's sizzling one-woman play explores the moral complexities in The Pilot's new situation -- and how it affects her and her relationship with her family. With language that moves from the poetic to the everyday, Brant creates a journey through a harrowing landscape -- the interior of the human mind.

Join us in the intimate Studio 120 on the TampaUSF campus for an experience you won't soon forget. Grounded opens on January 12, and plays Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm through January 29th. You can purchase tickets on our website or at the door.

Of course, it's not too late to buy a FlexPass and save a bundle. Get the regular for $95 (six punches) or the Mini for $60 (three punches). The FlexPass is good for both Grounded and The Other Place. Use your FlexPass any way you like: come to one show multiple times, bring many people to one show, or bring someone new each time you come to TampaRep. Special bonus: FlexPasses now include admission to Conversation Starters, our staged reading series, at no additional cost - and for no punches! Support TampaRep We believe that theatre is the place we go to see how we live our lives in meaningful ways. We produce plays that deserve to be seen - classics, known and unknown, with a special emphasis on American works of the 20th and 21st centuries. We create experiences in intimate spaces, experiences the audience completes. Over the past five and half years, we've consistently produced theatre that is innovative, provocative, and classic. You can support us in many ways -- by coming to the theatre (and bringing a friend), by volunteering to work behind the scenes or on the business side, and by clicking on the button above and making a donation to TampaRep. No gift is too small and all the money we raise goes into our productions -- to support artists, to purchase materials for sets, lights, and costumes, and to pay royalties to playwrights.
