The Salerno Theatre Co., "Tampa Bay's Musical Theatre Company," in association with Carrollwood Cultural Center and the Pinellas Park Performing Arts Center, is pleased the world premiere of the new 50's and 60's pop musical, COAST-2-COAST: HITSVILLE, USA!

Opening in less than two weeks, COAST-2-COAST: HITSVILLE, USA takes audiences back to the good old days of time gone by... An era filled with fast cars, poodle skirts and DA's. A time when life seemed a lot simpler.
Featuring the music of artists such as Dion and the Belmonts, Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, and Smokey Robinson and The Miracles to Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke and Creedence Clearwater Revival, COAST-2-COAST: HITSVILLE, USA revisits the birth of Rock-n-Roll, the surge of Motown and the California sound.

All your favorite songs are here, such as "Rama Lama Ding Dong," "In His Kiss," "The Wanderer," "My Boyfriend's Back," "Earth Angel," "It's My Party," "Under The Boardwalk," "Cupid," "Stand By Me," "I Second That Emotion," "Ain't Too Proud To Beg," "Stop! In The Name of Love," "Respect," "Surfin' USA," "Barbara Ann," "Proud Mary," "Burnin' Love" and many, many more!

Salerno's latest event follows in suit with other Salerno original Vegas-style productions such as BROADWAY IN CONCERT TM (Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center World Premiere, 2006), MUSIC OF THE KNIGHT: THE SONGS OF SIR Andrew Lloyd Webber & FRIENDS (2007) and SWEET DREAMS: FRANK, BOBBY & DEAN (2008).

COAST-2-COAST: HITSVILLE, USA features Salerno regulars Austin Allen, Derek Baxter, Jaime Giangrande-Holcom, Craig Hartfield, Hilary Kraus, Michael Mathews, Shannon O'Donnell and Wendy Starkand. Also featured are Salerno newcomers TJ Conwell and Nathalie Hostin.

Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 P.M. and Sundays at 3:00 P.M. Please note there is no performance on Friday, May 7.
