freeFall continues its tradition of presenting a new and daring staging of a classic Broadway musical. Last summer's 'Cabaret' is still being heralded as one of freeFall's biggest hits. This fall, freeFall opens its new season with a classic story about family, love and tradition. An audience favorite nearly 50 years after its stage debut, very few musicals have so magically woven music, dance, poignancy and laughter into such an unforgettable experience. 'Fiddler on the Roof' opens September 21. Performances will continue through November 3.

Directed by freeFall Artistic Director Eric Davis, the cast will star David Mann as Tevye (freeFall's MC in 'Cabaret'), Meghan Colleen Moroney (Broadway's MAMMA MIA) as Golde and Lucas Wells (freeFall's recent smash 'Spring Awakening') as Perchik. The cast also features Susan Haldeman, Georgia Mallory Guy, Wayne LeGette, Nick Orfanella, Daniel Schwab, Hannah Benitez, Anna Maureen Tobin, Caroline Howard, Natalie Cottrill, Nick White, Joel Gennari, Burt Rushing. Michael Raabe and Matthew McGee. This talented group of performers will use instruments, puppetry and quick changes to present this oft-produced theatrical gem in a way that freeFall audiences have come to expect. Michael Raabe also musically directs the production.

Fiddler on the Roof features a score by Jerry Bock (music) and Sheldon Harnick (lyrics), with a book by Joseph Stein, based on the stories of Sholom Aleichem. One of the beloved musical scores in the history of the American theatre includes "Tradition," "Matchmaker, Matchmaker," "If I Were a Rich Man," and "Sunrise, Sunset. This powerful and uplifting Broadway musical is perfect for the whole family.
