The Carrollwood Cultural Center in association with Charles Smiths is pleased to present: Charles Smith's Lustful Temptations on Friday, August 27 at 8 pm, Saturday, August 28 at 7 pm, Sunday, August 29 at 3 pm

Charles Smith's Lustful Temptations is a musical stage play packed with action and suspense: a story filled with family conflicts, deceitful relationships with a special focus on breast cancer.

Come see life in the real world and witness pain and joy, tears and laughter, suffering and hope!
A portion of the proceed will go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and Christian Brothers Film Academy.

Charles E. Smith Jr. has been in many motion pictures including: Lethal Weapon, Beverly Hills Cop II, Nuts, Spaceballs, The Presedio, Godzilla, and Bird-(The Charlie Parker story) to name a few. He has also appeared in many television sitcoms such as: Cheers, Martin, Hill Street Blues, LA Law, Hotel, and Highway to Heaven. Mr. Smith has been on stage in theater productions like: The Gospel at Colonus with Morgan Freeman, Paint the White House Black, Only the Strong, and the Off Broadway show Look What the Cat Dragged In.He's been directed by Francis Ford Coppola, Clint Eastwood, Michael Landon, Mel Brooks, and Stan Lathan to name a few.

He is now bringing his creativity and experience to the stage with his new musical Lustful Temptations.
The Carrollwood Cultural Center is a partnership between Hillsborough County and the Friends of the Carrollwood Cultural Center. It is the first cultural center in the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department system and opened in March 2008. The building is a complete renovation of the old St. Mark's Episcopal Church and a new addition that provides more than 22,000 square feet of space for the arts.

The mission of the Friends of the Center is to offer cultural programs, services and events that encourage individual exploration and promotes a sense of community. The Center participates with several Florida interest groups to promote the arts and its influences throughout the community. These groups offer intergenerational programs as well as initiatives that address particular individual needs and encompass graphic and performing arts, continuing education, and community outreach programs.
