Broadway star, Todrick Hall, star of the Broadway hit "Kinky Boots" will join the Tampa, Florida-based Broadway Theatre Project as a "Guest Artist" as part of the Summer 2017, 3-week musical theatre institute held each year at The University of South Florida.

Described by Playbill as "The world's most prestigious musical theatre arts education program for high school and college students," the program was founded in 1991 by Tony award-winning dancer, choreographer and director, Ann Reinking, and her assistant and associate choreographer on Broadway and a variety of other venues, President and BTP Artistic Director, Debra McWaters. Mr. Hall joins other stage and screen luminaries also in the program, such as Austin Pendleton (Actor, Director, Playwright), Chazz Palminteri (Actor, Playwright of Broadway's "A Bronx Tale: The Musical"), Gianna Palminteri (Actor, Producer, Writer), and Donna McKechnie (Actor, Dancer, Singer), with several more "surprise artists" to be named shortly.

A native of Texas, Todrick is a singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, choreographer, playwright, costume designer, Broadway performer, American Idol finalist, former star of his own self-titled MTV Show. and viral YouTube sensation with over 2 million subscribers and 400 million views. His Broadway credits include Oprah Winfrey's "The Color Purple" and The 2010 Tony Award Winning Musical "Memphis," and most recently his box office record breaking run as Lola in "Kinky Boots."

The Broadway Theatre Project will be held from July 9 through July 30, 2017 at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
