Now entering its 28th year, Broadway Theatre Project (BTP) announces its newest Resident Artist: Kim Morgan Greene. Best known for her television performances as Channing Carter Colby on The Colby's and Nicole Love on Another World, Greene is an award-winning actor, dancer, singer, choreographer and director. Her stage credits include the original Broadway production of Fosse (featured lead), the 1986 Broadway revival of Sweet Charity (Charity understudy/ensemble), and national touring/regional productions of A Chorus Line (Cassie), Gypsy (Gypsy Rose Lee), and Chicago (Roxie Hart). Greene's expansive screen experience includes roles on Greys' Anatomy, Miss Congeniality 2, The Bratz Movie, and Happy Endings.
Greene says, "After years of admiring BTP, I'm absolutely stoked to be joining the faculty this summer." She's passionate about passing on the gems that were gifted to her by mentors Bob Fosse, Gwen Verdon, Ann Reinking, and Donna Mitzel. "The less-is-more approach to acting," "using dance to communicate a story," "being present and confident in who you are as an artist"-concepts Greene is looking forward to exploring with students across the three-week intensive.
