The Las Vegas based production, Broadway at its Best, starring the highly-acclaimed musical group, "The Phat Pack" will make its Florida debut in the Bradenton Auditorium this weekend, August 2nd and 3rd. The Broadway-style, musical variety group was given the "Best of Las Vegas 2013 Award" for Best All Around Performers by the Las Vegas Review Journal.

In 2006, Bruce Ewing, Ted Keegan, Randal Keith and Kevan Patriquin all met while working together as cast members on the hit Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, "Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular. After closing the show, six incredibly successful years later, these talented friends weren't quite ready to call it quits. In 2012, they established the The Phat Pack. The name was inspired by the comradery of the infamous "Rat Pack," a group of well known singers which included; Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. but substituted the beginning of their name with a "PH" to pay homage to their roots in Phantom of the Opera. The collective experience of this versatile group of performers has been seen in numerous Broadway productions including The Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard, Will Roger's Follies and Les Miserables.

"Broadway At It's Best" is a delightful combination of Broadway, American Standards, and Las Vegas favorites, along with some hilarious new original songs. Filled with music, laughter, and dreams, The Phat Pack takes the audience on a wonderful journey and shares with them some of their most memorable life and career moments!

"Along with our Las Vegas partners, Imagine That Design and Production, we are extremely excited to have the opportunity to bring The Phat Pack to Bradenton," commented Mark Rodgers, who also produced the DaVinci Machines Exhibition in Bradenton. "The Bradenton/Sarasota area has such a rich cultural arts community, we felt The Phat Pack would be a natural fit," said Rodgers.

The Phat Pack premiered "Broadway at its Best" in 2012 at The Plaza Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas where it played for nearly a year, then played in the "Windows Showroom" at the famous Bally's Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip and has now begun to tour nationally and internationally in 2014.

The limited engagement will run in the Bradenton Auditorium on Saturday August 2, 2014 at 7:00 pm and Sunday August 3, 2014 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The show runs for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Tickets for this performance are $45.00 for Premium seating and $35.00 for General and Balcony seating and will be available online at discoverdavinci.com or by calling (941) 209-1236.
