Asolo Rep to Host Anti-Valentine's Day Party in Connection with GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS, 2/14

In a season filled with bold choices, Asolo Rep again goes against the grain by offering a February 14th performance of the season's most unromantic play, Glengarry Glen Ross, and pairing it with an Anti-Valentine's Day Party.

The pre-show celebration features music, FREE BEER AND WINE, and readings of sob stories performed by members of the unofficial Asolo Rep Sarasota Lonely Hearts Club. The party is free and open to anyone that has a ticket for the show. Come cry in your cups and catch a buzz with us as we collectively buck tradition and toast the single life. We promise you will have a F*#@ING good time!

The party will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 7-8 p.m. followed by an 8 p.m. performance of Glengarry Glen Ross. It all takes place at Asolo Repertory Theatre, Mezzanine, Mertz Theatre, 5555 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, Fla. (on the grounds of the Ringling Museum of Art located adjacent to the museum entrance).

Anyone with a ticket to the show is welcome to join in the fun. The recently formed Asolo Rep Sarasota Lonely Hearts Club provides solace through theatre to anyone who is single, currently in a bad relationship, on the verge of breaking up, recently divorced, contemplating divorce or a break up, and virgins.
