More artists have been announced for the six week Midday By the Bay entertainment series in the Plaza between Mahaffey Theater and the new Dali Museum.

Presented by WMNF 88.5 and *tbt, Midday is offered every Friday April 22 - May 27 from Noon - 2 PM.
The series, which is free to the public, kicks off Friday, April 22 with O Som Do Jazz. Presented by EMIT, this sextet recaptures the grace, energy and spirit of 1960s Brazilian Bossa Nova & samba-jazz.

Other local favorites include New Orleans' inspired hipsters The Jim Morey Band, jazz greats Austin Vickrey, Kevin Wilder, Alejandro Arenas, Mark Feinman and songbirds Rebekah Pulley and Sasha Tuck.

Locals are invited to stroll, bike or drive to the Plaza on their lunch break to celebrate the hip new arts corridor and hear some of the best local musicians in the area; all while overlooking beautiful Tampa Bay.

Attendees can create their own picnic or "brown bag" lunch, purchase delicious sandwiches, snacks and soft drinks outdoors or get a lunch "to go" at Café Gala on the first floor of the new Dalí Museum.
