14 Shows, 4 Subscription Series: FST Announces 16-17 Winter Season!

Florida Studio Theatre announces the Winter Season - the largest season in FST history. With FOUR subscription series to choose from, there is something for everyone.

The Mainstage season opens with the electrifying Tony Award-Winning musical Million Dollar Quartet. Continuing the season are three REGIONAL PREMIERES: The witty, Joe DiPietro hit Clever Little Lies, the poignant drama brownsville song (b-side for tray), and the smart contemporary comedy Rich Girl.

On the Cabaret stages, Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves opens the season, and is followed by the dynamic and entertaining Piano Men, and the musical comedy revue, Older Than Dirt.

Connecting audiences once again with the emotionally rough edges of raw, Live Theatre, FST relaunches the Stage III Series. This three show subscription series begins with the haunting production of Stalking the Bogeyman. Second in the line-up is the gripping story ofGideon's Knot. Concluding the season is the profound and poignant, Grounded.

This season marks the launch of FST's Inaugural Children's Theatre series. This four show subscription series begins with the touching tale of The Velveteen Rabbit, followed by the festive variety show, Deck the Halls! Then comes the inventive Alice With a Twist and the series concludes with the imaginative anthology, The Dragon vs. The Hiccups & Other Winning Plays.
