Rosemary for remembrance, pansies for thoughts…. And sunrise lime, Geraldton waxflower and Dorrigo pepper leaf for a quintessentially Australian dry gin!
Botanicals are woven all throughout Shakespeare’s work – from Juliet’s rose by any other name, to Ophelia’s fragrant bouquet, to the wild thyme and sweeping musk-roses in Oberon’s poetic ode to Titania. Though the flowers and herbs native to Australian shores weren’t known to Shakespeare, they add poetry to the hand-crafted spirits made by our friends at Archie Rose Distilling Co.
This October, you can experience the best of both worlds. Join Archie Rose Brand Ambassador Dan Ritchie and Bell Shakespeare actors for a spirited evening exploring botanicals in Shakespeare and a guided tasting of Archie Rose spirits.
Each ticket includes a glass of Archie Rose gin & tonic on arrival, a guided tasting of five different Archie Rose spirits, grazing platters from our friends at The Fresh Collective, and of course captivating performances from Bell Shakespeare actors throughout the night!
This event is strictly limited to those over the age of 18.
