Sydney Theatre Company and Performance 4a to Holds Acting Workshop for Asian Australians

Performance 4a and Sydney Theatre Company (STC) are inviting Expressions of Interest from members of the Asian Australian performance community to participate in a free week-long Acting Workshop this November, facilitated by director and STC's Richard Wherrett Fellow Paige Rattray. The workshop will be held at the STC in Walsh Bay, Sydney.

The acting workshop follows the success of a Performance 4a and STC directing workshop with Ms Rattray held earlier this year.

Previous acting experience is not required to participate in the workshop.

The workshop will focus on scene work using Active Analysis and the skills explored will include acting techniques, connecting physical and psychological action with text, improvising scenes and building character.

Successful applicants will be invited to attend the workshop taking place at Sydney Theatre Company from Monday 28th November - Friday 2nd December 2016. Applicants may be asked to attend an audition or meeting prior to this.
