John Howard, Robyn Nevin, Chris Ryan, Eryn Jean Norvill and Josh McConville are amongst the cast for Sydney Theatre Company's All My Sons by Arthur Miller. STC Resident Director Kip Williams is at the helm following the success of The Golden Age in January and Miss Julie, currently at Melbourne Theatre Company. Performances of All My Sons are at Roslyn Packer Theatre from 4 June 2016.

In an era of burgeoning optimism following the end of World War II, manufacturer Joe Keller (Howard) believes success and wealth are available to anyone with entrepreneurial spirit. His wife Kate (Nevin) has her own delusions, refusing to give up hope that their son Larry, missing in action for three and a half years, will one day turn up alive. When their surviving son Chris (Ryan) reveals he is in love with his brother's fiancée Ann (Norvill), the controversial romance threatens to throw a dark secret to the surface. The arrival of Ann's justice-craving brother George (McConville), only ratchets up the almost unbearable tension in the Keller home, in this classic tale of the shattering of the American dream.

John Howard, who throughout much of the 1980s and '90s was an almost permanent presence on Sydney Theatre Company stages, makes a welcome return to the Company for the first time since 2000. Former Artistic Director Robyn Nevin and Eryn Jean Norvill were both seen at STC in last year's King Lear as well as earlier teaming up for Suddenly Last Summer, for which director Kip Williams received the Helpmann Award for Best Director. Designer Alice Babidge worked with Williams on that production, following their earlier collaboration on Macbeth. Josh McConville adds four STC productions to his list of credits in 2016. In addition to All My Sons, Hay Fever and Arcadia, he will also be seen in Williams' forthcoming production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Chris Ryan last year performed in STC's The Present. His other STC performances include roles in Cyrano de Bergerac, Children of the Sun and Gross und Klein (Big and Small).
