In Caryl Churchill's Love and Information, eight actors portray a dazzling kaleidoscope of more than 100 characters in a series of tantalising snapshots of contemporary life. For Sydney Theatre Company and Malthouse Theatre's co-production, Kip Williams directs Marco Chiappi, Harry Greenwood, Glenn Hazeldine, Anita Hegh, Zahra Newman, Anthony Taufa, Alison Whyte and Ursula Yovich, with performances at Wharf 1 from 9 July 2015 (opening night 11 July).

A child who cannot feel pain. A man who has a secret. A scientist who dissects brains for a living. Former lovers recalling an affair. Churchill's many glimpses into the diversity of existence and experience offer windows into society's collective consciousness, the anxieties of modern life and the power of human connection.

STC Resident Director Kip Williams' recent successes for STC include Suddenly Last Summer, Macbeth, Children of the Sun, Romeo and Juliet and Under Milk Wood. For Love and Information he collaborates with former STC Resident Designer David Fleischer (Boys will be boys, Children of the Sun).

Caryl Churchill is one of Britain's greatest living playwrights. Her seminal plays include Top Girls, Cloud Nine, Serious Money, The Skriker and A Number. Love and Information premiered at The Royal Court in London in 2012 where it quickly achieved critical and popular acclaim. It was produced by New York Theatre Workshop last year, garnering rave reviews.
