This much-loved program, now in its 14th year, brings hundreds of music lovers from around the world together in Sydney, to enjoy an unparalleled weekend of singing and music-making, rehearsing to present some of classical music's great masterworks.
The two-day intensive culminates in a unique once in a lifetime opportunity, to perform on the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall stage, alongside a full symphony orchestra and some of Australia's best soloists.

Founded by Sydney Philharmonia Choirs Music Director, Brett Weymark, ChrousOz provides a unique opportunity for everyday music lovers to come together and experience the joy of singing on a grand scale.
A success from the get-go, ChorusOz has attracted hundreds of participants each year since 2005, travelling from around Australia and across the planet, with varying levels of singing experience - from absolute beginners, to semi-professionals after a fun weekend of musicianship and song.
Each year Weymark chooses a well know choral work for the ChorusOz program, and in 2019, he has selected an all- Beethoven program, showcasing some of the master's most loved works including his Ode to Joy from Symphony No. 9, the finale from the opera, Fidelio, and highlights from his Mass in C.
With over 600 people already registered for this year's event, ChrousOz 2019, is guaranteed to be unlike anything you've ever experienced before.

ChorusOz 2019 rehearsals will take place in Sydney on the weekend of June 8 and 9, 2019, with the finale concert performance on the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall stage at 5pm on the Sunday evening.

ChorusOz is open to everyone, with no audition necessary. Minimum age 18 years.
