Wednesday 4th May signifies the opening night and debut performance for the newly formed Polyamorous Productions. It will be the first of four performances of Anthony Neilson's highly acclaimed and provocatively absurd 'Edward Gant's Amazing Feats of Loneliness!' at the PACT Centre for Emerging Artists in Erskineville.
Established in 2015, Polyamorous Productions is the 'go get 'em' collaboration of Northern Beaches based veterinarian Natasha Pesce and Macquarie Park based entrepreneur and business owner Joel Harrison. Both have shared a passion for theatre since meeting in high school and have founded Polyamorous Productions on the principles of challenging theatre conventions and paradigms.
Based on the historic 19th century entertainer, Edward Gant guides his band of odd-ball actors through his travelling freak show of colourful and bizarre vignettes. Sydney based actors Will Hickey (Edward Gant), Nicole Wineberg (Madame Poulet), Jonathan Lagudi (Nicholas Ludd) and Ralph Andrews (Jack Dearlove) pull together to brave this physical and spirited piece of theatre. As the lines between reality and fantasy are lost the question that remains is; which side of the circus tent will you find yourself?
Edward Gant's Amazing Feats of Loneliness! is showing at the PACT Centre for Emerging Artists from Wednesday 4th May 2016 until Saturday 7th May. Performances commence at 8:00pm. General admission tickets and concession tickets available from eventbrite.com.au. General admission tickets $26.62, concession tickets $21.49 including all fees.
