Monkey Baa Theatre Company To Present SLAPDASH GALAXY

To keep the kids entertained these Summer school holidays, Monkey Baa Theatre Company will present Slapdash Galaxy, the latest work from the award-winning Bunk Puppets (Swamp Juice and Sticks Stones Broken Bones), at Lendlease Darling Quarter Theatre from 23rd to 25th January.

Forget what you know about shadow puppets, buckle-in and tear open your imagination for an epic journey with two brothers as they battle the bad guys, and find strength in each other at warp speed!

Fleeing their barren planet, the two brothers embark on a quest across the galaxy to find a new home. Using the contents of a cleaning cupboard, Bunk Puppets' Hamish Fletcher harnesses the power of imagination using items such as boxes, bubble wrap, drinking straws, tennis balls, ping pong bats and old toys. It's a crazy shadow puppet universe, all made up from bits of rubbish!

With their unusual, funny and hugely imaginative approach to puppetry and theatre effects, Bunk Puppets have earned international acclaim.

Recommended for ages five plus, Slapdash Galaxy is a hilarious and heartfelt performance about acceptance that will have audiences laughing out loud!
