Adelaide Repertory Theatre presents ALL MY SONS by Arthur Miller, directed by Dave Simms, running tonight, 6-8 September and 12-15 September at 8pm, with a matinee on Saturday, 15 September at 2pm.
All My Sons is Arthur Miller's compelling story of love, guilt and the corrupting power of greed. Self-made business man Joe Keller is haunted by a dark secret that had devastating consequences during World War II. His wife Kate is clinging to the hope that their missing son will return and cannot accept that his fiancée has transferred her affections to her other son. One fateful day in 1948 everything they stand for is torn apart.
Edward G Robinson and Burt Lancaster starred in the Hollywood movie, and recently the play has been revived to rave reviews in London’s West End in a production starring Zoe Wanamaker and David Suchet.
The play stars some of MixEd Salad's favourite actors: Julie Quick (Rabbit Hole), Ben Brooker (Feelgood), Peter Davies (Lips Together Teeth Apart) and James Edwards (Two Gentlemen of Verona).
The Arts Theatre is located at 53 Angas St, Adelaide. For bookings, call 8212 5777. Tickets: Adults $20; Concession $15; Students $10. Special rates for group bookings.
