Mixed Love Brings Opera's Rising Stars to Bowral Image

On Saturday 26th May, four rising stars of Australian opera will come to Bowral for an afternoon recital dedicated to the passion, drama, and humour of love.

Starring soprano Josephine Stark, mezzo-soprano Barbara Jin, tenor Daine Ellicote and baritone Emilio Mancia, Mixed Love will feature some of the world's most adored opera pieces about love, including music from Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, Lakm (The Flower Duet), The Barber of Seville, and Bizet's famed Carmen.

Directed by Pacific Opera's Goldele Rayment with Zsuzsanna Giczy on piano, Mixed Love is a passionately curated concert that will take audiences on a spirited emotional journey through the highs and lows of operatic romance.

Producer and performer Emilio Mancia said he was thrilled to bring this recital to Bowral for the first time. 'I love every element of music making and it is such a joy to take opera beyond where we usually get to perform,' Emilio said 'I was so fortunate to sing in Goulburn last year and the audience was so wonderful I knew I had to take this to another audience outside of Sydney'.
