This Easter long weekend, Nice Events in partnership with AmplifyLIVE will hold Cool For Summer, a new single-day festival in Sydney & Melbourne that combines the hottest music acts with the biggest digital influencers. Putting a modern spin on traditional music festivals, Cool For Summer is the first event of its kind in Australia, creating something truly special for the connected generation.

With a combined following of over 100 MILLION across YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat & Musical.ly, the artists on the line-up have all mastered the art of creating their own unique brand across multiple online platforms- bringing them closer to fans than ever before and eliciting unprecedented hype around their visit to Australia.

The festival will take place over the Easter long weekend at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre (Sydney) and The Plenary (Melbourne) and will feature a diverse set of live performances, DJs, activations, meet & greets + more.

Cool For Summer is powered by Amplify - Australia's fastest growing youth media property - and proudly sponsored by Rimmel London, Proactiv, Wool4School and UE Boom.

Rimmel London have long been a supporter of individuality, and this year's Cool For Summer will be no exception! YouTube sensation Alright Hey will not only be hosting the show, he'll also be Rimmel's representative. Alright Hey is a queer, plus-sized, makeup-obsessed superstar whose legion of loyal fans adore his pizazz and his unapologetic attitude.

"I love being considered someone who is outside of the norm! When I hosted AmplifyNIGHTS last year, I opened the show by saying 'I'm here & I'm queer, I'm loud & I'm proud, I'm large & I'm in charge!' and you can bet I'll be bringing that attitude to the Amplify stage this year, honey!" he said. "Get your spikes, chains and diamonds ready! I'm coming to a city near you!"

Proactiv will bring an exciting #Positivebeauty campaign to Cool For Summer. We're all familiar with the impossibly high standards set by magazines and beauty advertisements - young, thin, and photoshopped to perfection. It's a glamour culture that damages the confidence, self-worth, and body image of many young girls and women. Instagram star Sage Mellet (sister of Troye Sivan) will be joining Proactiv to headline a tour-specific 'Positive Beauty' campaign in April. "A staggering 98% of young Aussies feel immense pressure to look or act a certain way in today's society," Sage said. "I love the fact that we can share what's truly important and release any insecurities we have as a society. Making one person smile can't change the world, but it can change their world. #Positivebeauty inspires people to dig beyond skin deep to discover what is captivating about each other, and to give them a sense of inner confidence."
