Lies, Lies and Propaganda will present Charles Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol, at the Kings Cross Theatre from December 12th to 24th, contrasting the classic Victorian ghost story with the modern Theatre.
Join Ebenezer Scrooge this Christmas on a journey through past, present and future as he discovers the kind of person he was, is and will become. Perhaps there is still time for redemption from his old ways?
Lies, Lies and Propaganda brings its adventurous, daring theatrical style to Charles Dickens' classic Christmas ghost story, presenting an innovative and frightening adaptation with references to the horrors of 2017. The show has been adapted by Melissa Lee Speyer for the modern-day audience, highlighting the isolation and division of society and the importance of reaching out and creating communities.
The play stars Bobbie-Jean Henning (Slut, The Trouble with Harry), Aslam Abdus-Salam (Fire and Ice, Antigone), Jacqueline Marriott (Battlers & Dreamers) and Monica Sayers (Dead Caesar, Where's My Money?), and is directed by Michael Dean.
