Producer and recent inmate on Channel 10's 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' BONNIE LYTHGOE today announced she has cast award winning actress LARA MULCAHY to play 'Fairy Godmother' in her upcoming Pantomime CINDERELLA at Sydney's State Theatre from Friday 1 to Sunday 17 July. Lara comes direct to CINDERELLA after starring as 'Madame Thenardier' in Cameron Mackintosh's 25th Anniversary production of Les Miserables and The Detective's Handbook - a new Australian musical now playing at The Hayes Theatre.

When asked about being cast in such an infamous role Lara said "I'm so thrilled to be a part of Sydney's biggest panto Cinderella! I can't wait to work with the fabulous Bonnie Lythgoe and a wonderful fun bunch of celebrities! What a delight it will be to bring the sparkling fairy-godmother to life!"

Lara joins a star studded cast made up of 'The Real Housewives of Melbourne' favourite GINA LIANO as 'Wicked Stepmother', JIMMY REES as 'Dandini', KEV ORKIAN as 'Buttons', PETER EVERETT as 'Baron Hardup', CRAIG BENNETT & JOSH ADAMSON as the 'Ugly Stepsisters'. 'Prince Charming' will be played by Hi5 favourite TIM MADDREN and the role of 'Cinderella' will be played by lovely newcomer JAIME HADWEN.

The magical rags to riches fairy-tale story of CINDERELLA will feature sumptuous glittering sets, gorgeous fairy-tale costumes, contemporary songs, fabulous dance numbers, riotous comedy magic and bags of audience participation.
