James Valentine Presents WHAT A YEAR IT'S BEEN 2018

Back by popular demand, James Valentine and his friends from ABC Radio Sydney will take over The Concourse, Chatswood on Friday 7 December and bring 2018 into focus so sharp, you'll cut yourself.

Australia - so much to be proud of! We're a world-class unstable democracy, we've got banks we can't trust, bills we can't pay and if you're not commuting on public transport, or trying to buy, sell or rent, it's a great time to be alive!

For this 2018 special tribute, James is bringing the best of ABC Radio to join him - Richard Glover, Robbie Buck, Wendy Harmer, Chris Bath, HG Nelson & Simon Marnie - between them, they've got the year sorted!. *

Expect humorous observation, wry asides, biting commentary, musical interludes, blasts, sprays, rants, and the ravings of a gang whose full-time job is making sense of these crazy times.

It's a night of laughter, sometimes hysterical, bordering on weeping, but laughter nonetheless...what else can we do?

James Valentine is one of Australia's most loved radio presenters and in a long and eclectic career has worked as a journalist, author, television host and musician. A saxophonist, he has performed with many acclaimed acts including: Jo Jo Zep, Models and Absent Friends. James also hosts the ABC Podcast Head Room which expands on musings and questions posed during James' Afternoons radio show from 1-3pm weekdays on ABC Radio Sydney.
