The multi - award winning The Travelling Sisters have taken festivals by storm across Australia and the world, but this Sydney Comedy Festival features the long, long awaited Sydney debut for this deliciously absurd trio. Match - fit from seasons at the 2018 Adelaide Fringe, Brisbane Comedy Festival, New Zealand Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Travelling Sisters - Gaulier - trained Brisbane performers Lucy Fox, Laura Trenerry and Ell Sachs - hit Sydney with a busting new hour of offbeat sketch comedy.

Nominees for last year's MICF Best Newcomer award, The Travelling Sisters new show TOUPÉ, directed by Kimberley Twiner, follows a critically acclaimed Melbourne Fringe Festival season where they picked up two awards for their 2017 show, Noo Sho.

Combining mastery of physical comedy, contemporary clown and original music, with a multitude of hilarious characters, musical comedy with killer harmonies and a touch of the absurd, the infectious Sisters conjure up twists and turns you won't see coming !

Meet a country family band revealing all their deepest secrets ; three lads from London with set for vengeance ; and some Aussie mums with superstar talent. From stripping down to your undies in front of strangers after yoga, to accidentally finding yourself at an orgy, The Travelling Sisters find the ridiculous in the mundane. Like no act you have ever seen.

True to their name, The Travelling Sisters have clocked up masses of miles touring to Edinburgh Fringe Festival, London, Berlin, Prague Fringe Festival, Bedford Fringe Festival, Glastonbury Festival, Bath Comedy Festival and the Clockenflap Festival in Hong Kong since their debut show in a Brisbane hair salon in 2013.
