Australia's award winning guitar quartet ensemble, Guitar Trek has made a unique musical contribution in Australia over the past 29 years. But the long awaited solo concert of one of its star members, Minh Le Hoang, will no doubt confirm the depth of individual talent among them.

Guitar Passion is excited to announce that Minh Le Hoang will perform a program of Latin American, Spanish and Baroque music on Saturday 4th June, 2016 by 7:30 pm at the Mosman Art Gallery.

Winner of the 1st Prize Tokyo International Guitar Competition in 2007 as well as the Adelaide Spring Guitar Competition in 2001, Minh Le Hoang has toured extensively across Europe, for Musical Viva in Australia and has been featured at the top major festivals such as the Sydney Festival, Canberra International Chamber Music Festival, Brunswick Music Festival, Port Fairy Classical Music Festival, Frankston, Darwin, and New Zealand International Guitar Festivals.

As a soloist and recitalist within Australia, Minh Le Hoang has given master classes and concerts for guitar societies in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Canberra to enthusiastic crowds. He has also given concerts and classes in the United States and Southeast Asia as well as making many appearances on radio and television. In 2008, he released the critically acclaimed solo album "The Fall of Birds" and a more recent recording "Duo Merindah" featuring music for guitar and flute.

"One of the members of Guitar Trek, Minh Le Hoang established his solo credentials with a dynamic Ginastera Sonata. In an inspired piece of programming, the Ginastera was followed by the charming and under-rated Collectici Intim by Vicente Asencio, the rare juxtaposition of these contrasting middleweights yielding a kaleidoscopic finale." Paul Fowles - Classical Guitar Magazine.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to see this special performance - tickets for the concert are available online http://www.trybooking.com/KOME at $35 and $25 (also at the door). www.guitarpassion.com.au
